The european installation bus EIB will change the installation technique in the coming years. With that, it is possible at any time to change functions without new wiring in the installation of the building technique, add and assigning functions and many more without much effort. The basic installation of EIB is fully function-indepedent and offers a maximum flexibility. Through application specific devices and through the software, the needed functions will be assigned.

In principle the systems are composed of so called sensors (command giver) and actors (devices which executes the commands), which are connected through the bus. All devices are parallel connected to the bus, the actor recognizes its valid command through a valid code that is sent specially for him.

Our lighting control systems can problem-free work together with EIB components. Depending on the desired function, the sensors and actors of the EIB system overtakes transmiting of commands to the lighting control devices or the EIB control unit delivers directly the necessary control voltage for the light control device.
